Our Youthreach Programmes offer education, training and work experience for young people aged 16-20 years who have left school early. At Youthreach, you’ll get the skills you need and the help to get ready for further education and training or employment.

A Different Experience

Training Allowance

If you attend Youthreach, you’ll be eligible to receive a training allowance (€45 per week if you are aged 16-17, €232 for those aged 18+ years)

Supportive Learning Environment

Experienced teaching staff and counsellors are here to help you get the most from Youthreach.

Creativity

Youthreach offers subjects that like art, drawing, textiles, woodcraft and others that let you tap into your creativity.

Work Placement

Work experience is an important part of the Youthreach Programme. Take the opportunity to put new skills into use and find out what the world of work has to offer.

Subject Variety

Subjects include art and craft, catering, computers, childcare, hairdressing, health and fitness, literacy, numeracy, office skills, outdoor pursuits, personal development, woodcraft and many more.

Continuous Intake

You can join Youthreach at any time during the year. Most students spend two years on the programme.

Bus Services

Youthreach offer transport to get you to your local Centre and provides warm meals too.
